[D5, EE] Caution: Extremely Stylish Shenanigans Ahead

[Bayushi Senshuken]

Bayushi Senshuken rockets down the coast like a glamorous crime the authorities forgot to outlaw. She’s dressed in weaponized street style. A short checked skirt, thigh high stockings that say 'don’t trust me', chunky boots for crushing both sand and expectations, and a loose tie hanging from her neck like a stylish afterthought to a disaster. Her cropped red jacket opens just enough to hint at trouble.

She rolls up to a beach bar with a neon sign. The Salty Lotus.

Senshu parks the motorbike at an angle so cinematic it should come with its own theme music. She adjusts her tie just to make it artfully messier, tosses her hair at the sea breeze like it offended her and takes her communicator out.

“At the Salty Lotus. Come find the chaos. And me!”

Send. Pocket. Pose.

The ocean glimmers. The bar lights shimmer. And Senshu stands there like a cliffside warning sign labeled:

Since Senshuken won the initiative roll, it seemed that Ayame would have to arrive a little later. Most of the streets look more sparse than normal, people have been feeling a bit cautious about the impending storm that looms overhead. There were a lot of clouds gathering and some rumbles that could be heard in some parts of the city as the sun set. However, that didn't deter Ayame. She was already roaming the streets when she got Senshuken's text.

Soon, a beige sports car would pull up to the same parking lot, letting out a roar for show before being switched off.

Bayushi Senshuken lounges on her motorbike like she invented evening coolness for the first time in the history of the human race. Her grin carries that patented Senshuken arrogance. Half challenge, half invitation, all trouble.

She sees the beige sports car arrive with that intentionally theatrical roar, and instead of waving or walking closer like a normal person, she tilts her head, smirks and reaches for her communicator with the energy of a woman about to start a beautifully unnecessary escalation.

“So… who comes to whom, sniper-san? I’m at The Salty Lotus glowing like a sin waiting to happen. Your move.” She types.

She hits send, adjusts her tie purely for drama and immediately types a second message since restraint has never once paid her a visit.

“Quick question! Do you know who you’re meeting? Between cat ears and leech fangs, I went with ‘myself’ tonight. I’d hate to overwhelm you… accidentally, but utterly.”

Even with the car switched off, the lights of the car would remain on, flashing forward like they were either there for sure or maybe even a set of interrogation lights. Whatever the purpose, it would serve as enough of a cover to make the occupant in the vehicle a little harder to see.

The text was a peculiar choice, but she would answer her back in the same manner, nevertheless.

[Bayushi Senshuken]

Bayushi Senshuken feels the car lights hit her like a pair of judgmental suns, but she keeps her pose. She leans on her bike, one boot crossed over the other, the picture of utter smug serenity. She reaches for her phone with the unhurried grace of someone who knows she is being watched and who wants the sight to burn.

The first message pops up.
Then the second.
Then the third.
Then...

Her eyebrows lift. Her smirk deepens. By the time she reaches “…sitting in this car naked, choosing an outfit…”, the smirk becomes a full grin.

Senshu straightens. Not quickly, but decisively. She slides her phone into her jacket, grabs her helmet and begins walking toward the car with a steadily increasing pace that gives off 'professional urgency' and 'romantic threat' in equal measure.

She reaches the window and taps her knuckles against the glass. Sharp, official, dramatic. She tilts her head and announces, “Fashion Police. I’m here to conduct a thorough investigation on one allegedly hot Queen dress."

A heartbeat of silence.

She leans in and lowers her voice just enough to make it sound dangerous, “A hotness alarm was triggered in this area. Open up.”

Vrrrt...

At the call for an inspection from the fashion police, despite Ayame's recent tiff with the magistrate, she would soon comply by slowly lowering the driver's side window. To the disappointment of some audiences...she was, in fact, not driving around or found naked. Instead, she was dressed in a black leather skirt with stockings, a light brown top, a short black leather jacket, a something of a harness as an accessory.

She looked at Senshuken and tilted her head with an air of coolness about her as she slowly crossed her legs. The audible creak of leather could be heard. "Good evening, fashion officer. I'm afraid there isn't a dress here at the moment. I hope there isn't a problem here."

Senshuken freezes for one glorious second when the window rolls down. Not because she’s shocked, but because her brain shortcircuits at the combination of black leather skirt, stockings, harness and that very purposefully sexy crossing of legs that should be illegal in public spaces.

Soon she recovers and clears her throat, instantly summoning the most exaggeratedly innocent expression ever worn by a Bayushi. She widens her eyes a little, tilts her head and lets her lips part in a shock.

“Oh no… My first day on the job and we’re starting with an abduction? The Queen dress… missing?”

She leans closer to the window, still trying to hold the shy rookie magistrate routine, but her eyes absolutely fall down to Ayame’s legs for half a second too long.

She blinks. And recovers. Sort of. “I... I mean... ” Her voice cracks as she forces it back into innocence. "Protocol demands I request cooperation. For a very thorough... body search.”

She coughs with pretentious, yet adorable clumsiness. "Purely… ah… standard procedure. Please don’t make this harder for me. I’m new.” She adds shyly.

And she really does look shy, except for the faint, involuntary smirk that threatens to betray the fact that the rookie magistrate might faint from the hotness level of the suspect.

While there was no white queen dress to be seen or worn, it seemed that Ayame slipped slightly into that role as she was questioned by the fashion police. She would rest her chin elegantly on two fingers as her eyes seemed to size up Senshuken and her outfit of choice. The tone of her voice became a little richer deliberately as she responded back to her.

"Oh, new to the job? I don't know if I could comply with that, fashion officer," she said with a bit of arrogance. "Having you enter just doesn't feel right, and I know that I'm entitled to some... privilege in my position. How could I be so sure if I know what you're doing?"

She moved her hand and placed it on her chest, more where her clavicles were found to be accurate. "I'm more sure that I know exactly what I'm doing. Why don't you tell me what you're looking for and what you need to see? I'm sure my hands know myself better than yours, rookie fashion officer. Maybe I'll reveal myself to you...you can stay standing out there and watch. Won't that be a better compromise, hm?"

Senshuken’s mind fires like a volley of arrows the instant Ayame’s voice turns richer.

A hundred answers bloom in her skull in less than a heartbeat. No! A hundred and twelve by the time Ayame reaches 'standing out there and watch'. Each one hotter, sharper and more scandalous than the last.

One has her lean in and whisper something that would make any courtier drop her fan.

Another has her fold herself into the driver’s seat and let Ayame demonstrate whatever she has in mind even if it clearly is a plot to Senshu's demise.

A third involves her removing her jacket with criminal slowness and explaining in forensic detail how she intends to conduct the inspection.

The fourth answer is so indecent she mentally throws it into the night like a guilty offering.

A fifth includes Ayame pinned against the car window.

A sixth includes Senshu pinned against the car window.

The seventh is simply an appreciative “yes.”

By the twentythird she’s imagining Ayame in the white queen dress anyway, purely out of scientific necessity.

By the fortyninth she’s reconsidering her entire life path up to this moment.

By the eightieth she’s dizzy.

When Ayame’s fingers touch her clavicle, Senshu’s brain hits the one hundred mark. Then it detonates, reforms, and produces a single unified conclusion. This woman is going to be the end of her.

And so, instead of any of the exquisitely devious lines she came up with Senshuken just... laughs. Too warm, too delighted, too undone to pretend otherwise. It escapes her like a spark of fire in the middle of the woods.

She grins, bright and dazzling, her posture somehow both rakish and courtly. A playfully gracious bow that borders with flirtatious theater is offered.

“Kami, this is amazing!" She takes a breath while still laughing. “May I enter, sniper san? I have not been caught yet as a result of sheer will." She tilts her head in the most wicked, but still adorable way. “I would very much appreciate enjoying the chase and not surrendering in the first few minutes.”

Ayame seemed to just sit there and continued to eye Senshuken inquisitively with a sly smirk on her lips, just happily resting on her dangerously beautiful face.. There was a part of her that found this tease a little fun to let go so easily. There was the temptation of keeping Senshuken outside, making her squirm even as some people passed by or maybe even after the storm started. She did keep something in her glove compartment for such an occasion...

Toonk!

"Well, since you've asked nicely and you look plenty adorable just there," She would press the button to unlock her car, then move to sit up in her seat properly, rather than just lounge there to be looked at. "Sure, come on in."

Senshuken doesn’t just enter the car. She slides into it like sin dressed in street fashion.

She steps in with that lazy, predatory elegance of hers. One hand braced on the roof, the other carrying her helmet in a way that makes the silhouette of her body glide forward. Her knee comes in first, smooth and slow, and then she folds into the passenger seat with a fluid motion that’s entirely too practiced to be accidental. The door closes behind her like it’s sealing a secret.

Inside the car’s dim light, she doesn’t look at Ayame right away. She lets the air thicken. Lets Ayame notice the way her collar sits open.

Only then she turns her head. Slowly. Like someone revealing a rare painting. No mask or whatsoever. No helmet this time either. Her eyes trace Ayame’s face with graceful shamelessness and she looks hot just by… looking. That's Senshuken's specialty. The soft, hungry gaze paired with a high brain cell count plus danger and speed.

A beat. Another. A dangerous third. Then her lips curl into her patented sexily stupid smirk.

"I don’t think we’ve been formally introduced." She purrs and tilts her head with that exaggerated sweetness that’s one wrong breath away from farce. “I’m not dyyyyiiiiing to do so, though. It might get…” She taps the tip of her finger against her own cheek." …weird.”

A pause, just long enough to be criminal.

“I prefer to stay kitty chan and promise absolutely nothing than go with names and endanger mixing fun and games with..." She waves her hand. "Anything else really."

Ayame looked rather amused by Senshuken deliberate movements into her car, but she supposed these rather charged movements were how they started this relationship at first. When there was that charged bit of silence, especially when Ayame would just watch her, there was admittedly that temptation to stroke under her chin as if she was the kitten she acted she was at the party. Or was she supposed to bite her instead? Darn, she didn't quite have her fangs on at the moment.

"I'm afraid that we've kind of pierced the veil of reality already in more ways than one," she let out a low chuckle as she pulled out her communicator to indicate the texts that they had been sharing previously. Maybe she should have used a burner communicator but damn it, subtlety was for courtiers and Scorpion. "Or at least riddled with multiple holes at the very least."

She turned to her with a playful smirk. "If you wish to stay Kitty-chan, that's fine with me, only because you're all sorts of adorable. Sniper-san is technically right but I just feel that name is so much more attached to Sniper Ronin than myself. Had I known, maybe I would have brought that outfit instead. But, I get the feeling that the kami were awakened in the double-sided tape that night, and I won't get so lucky on another occasion."

Senshuken pauses after closing the car door, fingers still on the handle. She's truly been struck by a philosophical revelation of great and terrible magnitude.

The veil is pierced. Her eyes go to Ayame’s communicator, then back to Ayame. "Have we really filled reality with holes?” She wonders aloud as though this is a pressing spiritual matter for the Council of the Elemental Masters. “Is the tapestry of our identities now just dramatically scattered to the wind?" She makes a little gesture like scattering confetti.

She leans back, overthinking in real time, utterly adorable and criminally dramatic." On one hand, sniper san, and I do say sniper san for now, you may be correct. Perhaps the veil lies in tatters, abandoned somewhere in the parking lot, weeping softly." A sigh. “On the other hand maybe it never existed in the first place, and we merely pretended it did for the sake of suspense and fashion.”

Her brow furrows with fake scholarly intensity. "And on a third hand. Yes, I’m granting myself a third hand because this is a metaphysical crisis. If the veil is gone utterly, then who,” she places a hand to her chest, “will stop me from being my true self?”

Senshuken shifts, once again dazzling with that foxish charm, and turns towards her fully. “But,” she continues, softly, playfully, in the most conspiratorial way, “perhaps this does not fall to me.” She taps her chin with comic gravitas.

“Should we declare the veil officially gone? Or should we pretend it still flutters dramatically behind us whenever we roleplay?” Her grin widens. “Because I can live with either truth. I can live with both truths.”

She leans in. Her voice is warm, but sinful and teasing. “Just promise me one thing. RP stays. The style, the sexiness, the ridiculous theatrics? They remain.”

Senshuken has Ayame's full attention when she went into the philosophical and the metaphysical. There was a look of amusement in her face with the faint smirk on her lips but her eyes seemed to alternate between bemusement and incredulousness. If she knew it was going into this sort of debate, she might have considered having a few shots before attempting to delve into this.

Ayame gave a slow lick of her lips as she looked off in consideration. She shifted slightly in her seat, doing this with the associated faint audibles accompanying the leather, resting her elbow on the seat as she turned to face her passenger. That metaphysical crisis felt a bit long enough to make her rump numb.

"Well, just because the veil is barely there, doesn't mean there aren't boundaries to be made. I'd like to think the veil as a first impression but we can still have multiple masks, or outfits as it were. Roles. And don't you worry about role playing. I can certainly do role playing," she would end her sentence with a slight sultry purr.

"But for role playing to be a thing, we need to know that our other selves exists. Otherwise, we're barely playing, just roles, right? So, with that said...As you already know, I am Yasuki Ayame, the governor of the Tango Provinces. And I'm ready to journey through many realms of role...play," she smirked at the last word.

Senshuken listens with a helpless, dazzled half smile. When Ayame finishes with her sultry little “role… play,” Senshu blinks once, twice and then gives the smallest, sexiest, most theatrical shrug of defeat ever performed by mortal shoulders.

“Alright, alright." She concedes and lifts her hands as if surrendering to an irresistible force. “Boundaries. Masks. Other selves. You win this round, Yasuki sama.”

She crosses one leg over the other with purposeful elegance and settles comfortably into her seat. She looks every bit the stylish troublemaker she is. Then... she tilts her head.

“Bayushi Senshuken,” she says smoothly. “A visitor in this world. I’m from the World of Dreams. The fourth child of a provincial daimyo.” She gives a tiny, dignified nod. “Courtier. Professional racer. Worshipper of speed. And,” she adds with a sinfully innocent tremble of her lips “someone who occasionally forgets underwear exist.”

She spreads her palms lightly. "That is pretty much everything I am willing to reveal.” A sly grin. "Unless you employ superior interrogation techniques like asking me directly.” She winks in an utterly hot and impossibly cute way.

Admittedly, Ayame already had some idea who Senshuken was. After all, she did introduce herself and present her gift on the first day. It was good to have a soft 'reset' with formalities after their little play at Ochiba's party.

Her gaze found itself curiously drawn by Senshuken's shoulders, perhaps rather enthralled by how she could accomplish such a feat of theatrical expression with her musculature. Perhaps this was somewhere she should take notes. To think that she was going to become very familiar with them prior to the magistrate's visit.

"Pleased to meet you formally, Bayushi-san, one of many titles. I should have expected less from someone so...unbound as you," she said as she boldly reached over to take a hold of her tie, if she wasn't willing to escape her grasp. Her hold wouldn't be a forceful one, but still a gentle tug to urge her forward toward her. "That said...maybe someone ought to teach you some propriety to avoid that little problem of yours..."

Senshuken freezes. It's not out of fear, but out of stunned, electric surprise.

She’s used to being the one who leans in first, the one who tugs collars, steals breaths and tilts the world off its axis. She’s used to driving the moment, not being swept in it.

So when Ayame’s fingers claim her tie and pull her in, something new sparks in Senshu and it's sharp, thrilling and unfamiliar at the same time.

A chill races down her spine. Her muscles tense, then soften and her lips part on a breath she would have never planned. Her eyes lock onto Ayame’s, wide with a kind of awe she would never admit out loud. When she speaks, it isn't her usual purr or playful command. It's something quieter, more honest.

“Teach me.”

Ayame smirked slyly at the reaction she managed to coax from Senshuken. She might not be truly a leech-wraith but it seemed that she had some access to the Wile discipline. Her expression was one of continued amusement as she took hold of her leash, no, her tie. Seeing as the Scorpion was helpless to escape, she would take a firmer grip with her finger rolling around the fabric so that Senshuken had less room to escape now that she was in her net. Not that she was a Spider.

"Such a naughty girl..." She would say in an intimate tone to her face. They were close enough to kiss, but kisses were for those who earned them as rewards or in this case, finished their lesson.

Her grip would slacken, only so she could allow her hand to slide down her tie. Ayame would never release her, though, pulling her closer once she took hold of the end of Senshuken's tie once more. "I'm going to have fun teaching the brat out of you..."
