To defeat Kuni Sumie, players make a Games: Fantasy Fight (Chikushudo House x Fantasy Fight)/Intelligence against a cumulative TN60 in 3 rolls. A cumulative TN is achieved with the sum of all rolls. However, Sumie's deck is equipped with powerful counters. If when keeping high, any of the rolls (after all bonuses applied) would be either the number 7, 14, 19 or 39, treat the result of that roll as being 0.

The bolded numbers are the total of the roll and not like just one die's result, right?

Yes, the total of the roll made. Not the individual dice, as much as it would be hilarious to ruin someone's day when they rolled 39 on one die.

However, a neat idea for the future! Maybe Kuni Sumie's deck will negate all 7s and 8s in the future!

Absolutely not. Imagine the budget spent here would be in 100's of Koku and basically an obscene budget for any PC characters to have. Same thing with Bid Points.

I will be in shambles if anyone can win my event with a found cheat code (there are none). I absolutely detest cheat codes in PBP games and I've played enough to witness a few. Not on my watch!

I think if you want to fluff some of it being used for your dinner, or being served at your casino or something that's fine, but its your Clan that's footing the bill, and therefore who owns it.

I forgot to add +1 to a social roll in the Bid Event from Social Position's bonus (as per Houserules). The +1 happens to be the difference between success and failure. Is it alright to add it in post, as it doesn't change any dice and the roll was otherwise correct?

To be honest, I don't think we've had a game where a Fantasy Fight player returned before. Can you present to the jury the character Kaiu Tetsu has in possession?

Izumi wins the tournaments and gets to pick two cards! Also he nets 0.2 Glory.

The following four cards are available, the winner gets to pick two and the character who lost the finals gets the remaining two.

The cards can be added to decks and they grant a particular bonus. Player may only benefit from one bonus and must make a note of which bonus they are using when making their Games: Fantasy Fight (Signs and Portents) / Intelligence rolls.

'Serene Ningyo': This card grants the player "Lucky" if they rolled a difference of 10 or less against their opponent. They must keep the next roll and this opportunity does not trigger again.
'Ancient Orochi': This card adds + 3 to the player's roll. This does not stack with 'tournament winning deck'.
'Temple of Eternal Fire': This card grants emphasis to the roll.
'Wrathful Yuki no Onna' When using this card, you are considered the victor in ties.

Needless to say, Tetsu gets the remaining two and 0.1 Glory.

Tetsu gets 'Serene Ningyo' and 'Temple of Eternal Fire'.

Wow, yikes. It'd like to think that Serene Ningyo either got banned or rotated out.

You can still benefit from Temple of the Eternal Fire.
