(D1 EM Open) Spider in the shrines

[Susumu Sumiko]

The weather had started very dreary and unwelcoming. Which oddly felt fitting for the morning, as Sumiko knew it was going to be a long day. Still, even in a wet world full of her clans long standing enemies the girl would not change her normal start to the day! While some prayers could be done in the embassy, one couldn't. After speaking with the embassy clerk, armed with her trusty umbrella, the girl made her way to the shrines section of the city. Coming to a stop at the sight of the torii as well as the temple itself which looked foreboding in the stormy weather.

Dressed like a girl from the past she entered the shrine proper, to pay respect to Daikoku as well as locate the complexes within.

[Susumu Ami]

"This might be the most welcoming place on this entire planet." Her voice cut through the rain. Hands tucked into the pockets of her pantsuit, Ami looked to torii arch, before down to her fellow clans woman.

"And you might be the friendliest face here. We do like a challenge in assignments, don't we."

[Susumu Sumiko]

The girl under the umbrella turned, a smile on her face as she saw the person that addressed her before bowing deeply.

"The Fortunes welcome all as long as you approach respectfully" the girl nodded "and what is this life if not for a challenge? It'll be my third challenging assignment in a row but this one tops the lot. Good morning Susumu-sama, I hope your journey wasn't as...delayed as mine?"

[Susumu Ami]

"Pish posh. A slight delay as we were hassles by customs inspection, but nothing unexpected. Still, it at least was a luxury class trip." She would bow in return.

"It's almost as if I was home, here in this place. So I had to come pay respects to Lord Daikoku. We have a long history." She sighed wistfully, and looked directly to the small Spider.

"You were at the World of Dreams, yes? My cousin mentioned you when he helped me procure this assignment."

[Susumu Sumiko]

"I think my delay was close to 2 hours" Sumiko commented with a small laugh "but it was expected. Somewhat. When they talked about refusing it I was concerned though. Shall we head in?"

Once her superior agreed she would start to lead in.

"Oh your cousin? I'm honoured to be remembered, I did my best to assist my kin on the World of Dreams. It was a very interesting experience, and also very surprisingly educational. I didn't think I'd go to a Scorpion world and learn more about Gaki-Do."
