Small Spider, Crab edition (Sumiko Q&A)

I didn't expect RL to go on attack so hard during this game, even though I was travelling every weekend in November

I struggled a lil at points but overall I enjoyed the game and Sumi goes back considering it mission complete as Spider managed to get something out of this game!
Ask anything, I may or may not answer as it's not likely this'll be Sumi's last game...

Oho, so we're likely to see Sumi again? What is she planning?!?!

Is she in love with Hinata? Will she stop being best friends with benefits with Senshuken?
And more importantly!
"Have we given the taint to half the Nakahama, honey?"

It was a delight inching closer and closer to a proper romance as the days passed! I quite liked our interactions on every day, lots of texture and sappy pining in equal measure!
Where would you like for Sumi to visit next? What will her parents think of Hinata? Where is she putting his Jade tattoo on?

When will Sumiko cast her first maho spell and earn her parents' approval?

Right now? Sumi isn't in love with anyone. She's technically not still fully over her actual last love, but Hinata appealed to the parts of her that want to be loved and he seems determined enough! She's not convinced that anything beyond being close can happen yet, because of the feelings towards the Spider, but she wants to be hopeful! That might decide whether the 'with benefits' part remains or not
No taint, sorry!

It was very cute! It's a bit of a shame that RL took a lot of time away from me to do more threads, but I like how it has gone so far. On the questions:
1) After going back to Longshore and making sure the sanctuary is well on its way? An allies homeworld! Enough being in the lands of the enemy!
2) Luckily for Hinata I'd say the chance of him meeting her parents are slim, as I'm pretty sure their opinion of him would be not very high as Hinata is a sweet person and her parents are very not nice people.
3) Why are you assuming you'll join the Spider

Sumi is a very low ranking Spider even if she's a prodigy of the Susumu. Maybe she'll need to start mask shopping?

Thank you for playing!
I think Sumiko has been in like...3 Banner games now?! Might be the longest reprisal in the game, by my vague estimation. It might be time for a plot armour check! Kidding!
I kind of feel that Sumiko will always be lurking around every Banner game, so long as there's that one hacking event that she will always ace. Much like a Usagi Drop Boi on every dancing arcade game! Reception of the Spider has been rather friendly for a Crab Clan world, maybe too friendly! Did Sumiko feel at ease, or did she think they were lurking in every corner?

Thank you for running the game, it's been fantastic!
Yeah Sumi has been in three games, for being one of the youngest characters she's a banner veteran

nobody wants to make her plushie family lose their mother! I think she had more chance of something going wrong in the World of Dreams as part of the group going into the desolation. While she was a little involved in different side plots she never was in real risk of anything but a Kuni jade strike I think.
Her growth from New Kalani to now has been interesting, in Kalani she was more of a background minor part of the Spider delegation to here where she's been far more front and centre. This game was always going to be almost impossible for the Spider but she leaves believing it was a success as the Spider have a small foothold in a business so she can report back to her superior that there's going to be something to invest further into. I made sure to include hints towards the Crab constantly checking in on the Spider in some of my posts, but I think the New Kalani game was more hostile to the Spider than this game and that's one of Spiders allies! Sumi was pretty sure that while she might not be trusted, she wasn't in any real danger as long as she left after it finished and didn't leave herself open to be held as a political prisoner.
I'd like to think Sumiko is a good example of what the Susumu are; you can hate the Spider but it's hard to hate the smiling welcoming friendly little Susumu girl. Especially as she gets actively involved in helping out others (especially animals, this is the third time she's been involved in protecting animals/species)
