“Ah, I should be fine, I think. I do kind of lift and climb into stuff every day. And I do have some bottles of green tea I can provide if you need a bit of a caffeine boost.” Nagisa reassures her before pulling up her own comm information to show to the Kitsuki.

“Ahhh, well, if it’s after hours a drink wouldn’t hurt but I don’t drink on the job.” It’s now painfully obvious how her own words sounded earlier now that they are aimed towards her. “I mean, I’m definitely more coordinated when not inebriated.”

“To be honest…” Nagisa can’t help but crack a little bit of a smile. “I’m mostly worried about looking dumb or silly. I don’t want to put out that kind of impression.”

Also definitely some of the words that have come out of Nagisa’s mouth when there’s a loose filter may have to do with it.

There's much much darkness on the galaxy, on the hearts of peoples.. I would prefer to see you become dumb or silly, than hold the walls I see on those with scars."

That was not something Nagisa expected and as such caused her brain to leak out her ears. Or at least she imagines it while her face reddens.

"Well.. it is what I do to unwind. I travel too much, so, cannot really do anything that requires me to settle. So, I just dress as a heimin, visit normal clubs and... let go. Simple as that."

Nagisa takes her hand off the back of her neck and starts tapping her on the table as she gives that a good moment to take in. “Oh, if you need a reference or something, I can just… Put a good word in for you. No need for any exchange like that. I like your company enough I would prefer if you had a reason to stay.”

Nagisa’s mind races, there’s a long enough pause that it might raise an eyebrow or two before she clears her throat once again. “Yeah! I look forward to it as well! Probably a good idea to get rest, yeah. I’m probably going to crash the moment my head hits the pillow.”

The Kitsuki's slate eyes were sharp, as if they could pick up the wind under their gaze, and the reaction wouldn't be able to escape her.

"Friendly date, Kaiu-san. Acquittance date?" She corrected, raising a hand to calm the waters. "I'm not saying I wouldn't, but I prefer to pace myself better regarding such.. entanglements."

And the gray gleamed the edge of a sword. "Unless you desire otherwise?"
