(D10, ME) Smoke and Heat

Kisha giggles back.

"This is so nice, being able to relax with a friend."

A hiccup.

"Did I say that out lout? I mean, out loud? Good. I mean it."

The bartender puts a couple of glasses of water down. He's a decent enough fellow, really.

"It IS!" Taraka exclaimed with a giggle.

She took up her...water.

"To FRIENDS!" she toasted, before attempting to slam the water.

"Didn' feel tha' one atall"

"Yes!" Kisha exclaims, and she tries to drink from her own water. Some of it does manage to get into her mouth, but it goes down the wrong pipe, and she starts to cough. Some of it had managed to go down the front of her clothes, though, and while relief from the heat is welcome, the show that begins, small but outstanding, is probably not something she'd be thrilled to be putting on if she was aware of doing so.

For the moment, the coughing takes precedence, though.

"You...ok, Miya-san?" she asked, deeply concerned.

"Just--*cough cough cough*--went down the wrong--*cough cough*--pipe," Kisha manages to get out as the spasms bend her over in her stool. "I'll be--*cough*--okay in a bit."

She coughs again, several more time, slapping her chest high as she does. Her face reddened from the exertions, she starts trying to regulate her breathing again, takes another sip of water.

It's then that she realizes the state of her clothing, and the redness on her face deepens.

"Oh...we should get you home, Miya-san. Your home here. Your here home. It's closer than my place. I think. So you can get out of those wet things. Into dry ones." Taraka says, willing to see the Miya back to her place.

[Miya Kisha]

"I'm at Natsuzora," Kisha says, still red-faced.

The bartender brings Kisha the bill. She signs off on it without looking at it closely.

"Is that closer than you live?"

Taraka had to think about that really hard for some reason.

"No." she finally decided. "S'fine, we'll just go to my apartment and get you fixed, dried up there."

"That's really nice of you, Yasuki-san," Kisha says. "And we're all settled uip and everything, too."

She manages to stand, if somewhat shakiuly.

"Shall we away, then?"

"Awaaaaaay" she said/sung as the two would stumbled their way off into the night.
