Honoka chuckles, as politely as possible. Shaking her head softly in response, as she says, "No no, it doesn't work as easy as I said it. Though, it is about how things will go. I am not going to step in to do anyone's duty for them. However, I do have a list of contacts through my father and those I have worked for. With enough concentrated effort, and mail directed at the correct people. I would be nudging decisions that are being made in your favor, well- bring you closer to Shiawase."

"I suppose it sounds rather certain when I say it, but it is mostly still relying on others finding something that works. We can't create a perfect match up wholly on our own. Just let my will, by extension your will, be known and hope it tips whatever deciding scale is in the works your way."

Honoka looks down, a little embarrassed, "It sounds impressive when I put it like that but really I am just writing mail."

"Knowing who to write to is impressive though. I often think that's a difficult task!" Mostly because she was easily distracted or had a hard time getting to focus on something like writing mail.

"But any kind word on my behalf," she looked to Ichitaiyo and then back to Honoka, "our behalf, is appreciated. Having the recommendation of locals such as yourselves is sure to impress."

As the topic furthers into talks of matches and marriage, Nagisa’s attention shifted elsewhere. This is a minefield she doesn’t want to be dragged into it. So her drifting attention falls onto Ichitaiyo, where she offers a slightly awkward smile as the other two talk.

While Ichitaiyo had been light, rested beneath her touch just a mere hours ago.

What could have happened at the Magister's office that had her paler, sunken and lost to her own head? Where the detective had once been able to perceive the slightest of gestures, she had inverted into herself after her corporate performance before the Yasuki, lost in thought or some kind of emotion, unable to take in the soft smile that could distract her.

This was more than being her professional self.

"Well, as far on speaking on behalf of the Dragon you can rest assured that Kitsuki-san's reporting here," she says, tapping a hand on the files precious provided, "has given me a great deal of reassurance that our allies don't simply care for the alliance, and what they can stand to gain from the Tango province but how they can benefit the province as well."

"As for my offer to speak to others on your behalf of marriage, or appointments here in other forms or capacities," she looks down a little sheepishly. "I admit, I am somewhat selfish. My desire here is that I want those who would be appointed here by any of the clans to be those who already know my home, would respect it, and if I can be so greedy for them to be those who want to be here as well."

"I understand that train of thought, Yasuki-sama," Kanna nods, her expression showing that she understood the sentiment. "I too would feel the same way if it was my home."

She looks around them for a brief moment, taking in the place that was Honoka's home, then returns her attention to the host. "A lot of changes will happen in the future, with more businesses opening up, but hopefully the majority will be with people who can be relied on as allies and neighbors."

Little did Kanna know that the next day would show otherwise for some of the other clans.

The Kitsuki’s demeanor has Nagisa concerned, but she’ll have to talk to her about it in private when they can. Meanwhile, Nagisa does speak up in regards to the future. “While change is inevitable… I would hate for the feel of the place I love to change so much I don’t recognize it anymore. I think those that respect the culture and customs of our home being the ones to be stationed here is ideal.”

"Change can be good," she says, looking down at the table space in front of her. Having her own internal moment. "Of course, so long as those inspiring the change are doing it for the right reasons I would think. Even if, perhaps, that change might make some uncomfortable. Though I suppose that is a bit the nature of change, to make people uncomfortable for a fine while the world adjusts to a new status," she pauses, thinking on her own words a little more. Feeling, for reasons unclear to the others present, a little more reassured in herself.

"Yeah. Yeah, you're right," Kanna nods, agreeing that change could be good. "Just so that change isn't done in a harfmul way, you could say. I don't want to see all the good things about Nakahama - or Tango Province - gone, or changed into something... not good!"

"And I do hope the new changes from all the incoming business will make things better."
