Too many speed junkies around!
We should have impromptu races every night! (or till the magistrates find out)
Looks at the rumours
. . .
I think they may already know.

Three things in life are constant. Death, taxes and online dice rollers destroying your finely calculated plans.

Of course it would fluff the roll after I spent so long looking for reference pics...

After my infamous performance at the miai of Dark Edge Village game in HT timeline . . . I have learnt to not overly plan and embrace the Failpost.
After all KITTEH CAN DO ANYTHING!

I think I did okay.
I also think that if I pushed to try to win, I'd've failed utterly, and I'm not sure I'm ready for that.
I've not been as good at failposting as I probably ought to have been.

Downside to lots of gming experience: You don't have to practice your failposts quite so often

It is different being on this side of the screen.
I like it, even if I'm not as able to get into it at the moment as I might like (that tax season is done does not mean tax work is done, alas), but it is different.

F that "ought" foolishness. People write the best that they can within the context of their situation. We have some fabulous failposters around here, but that doesn't make it easy for everyone, and in some cases it's really hard.
Be ok with what you've got and look forward to the potential for even better posts - succeed or fail - in the future.
