Now that was a clever soft pitch. Putting out her own credentials as an investigator and her desire to help Green Carp, and slowly working around to Security and Intelligence without directly accusing the Crab clan's ally of being a bunch of duplicitous double dealers. If the two had met but a day earlier, who knows what might have happened?
What happened now, though, was the Crab's drone slicing through the Dragon's banner, letting it flutter to the ground.
Taraka guided her drone back.
"As it should be, Kitsuki-san. Money and power are always going to mix together, and when that happens intrigue is sure to follow." she said.
She smiled.
"Still, having another perceptive and clever person as yourself on Green Carp is a good thing I feel. If you need any help with that, please feel free to let me know. I know the local realtors pretty well, and can help you in finding more permanent lodgings, or a site for your private business should that be the route you pursue." she offered.
