For a moment, Iwane paused to wonder if Kanna had mujina ancestry. In theory, mujina were not known to be able to interbreed with humans. However, he had no other apparent explanation for her character. "Weapons are a Crab tradition, Tamori-san. We have always stood ready to guard the Empire." To some of the Hida and Kaiu, weapons were almost a religion. "This face paint can be traced back to Kuni-sama himself," he explained, carefully touching his chin.

"Is your spa popular among your kin? I've always understood that the Dragon eschew luxury and comfort." Silver Fin Productions were keen to portray the Dragon as strange as they were unpredictable.

The mention of mugwort caught Iwane's attention. "I know a little about traditional herbs," he told her. "My work here involves cataloging the local flora and fauna, and searching for unknown compounds that might have medicinal value. Perhaps something that would interest Tamori-san?"

"Ooooh." She marveled a little bit at his facepaint. Now she wasn't sure if Kuni-sama himself was *the* Kuni or maybe the Kuni-daimyo. But it was certainly an important Kuni!

Somewhere else on Green Carp, Igoro felt a disturbance in the Force.

"I'm from Dragon's Eye, but I've visited almost all the other planets of my clan. It's a small planet in a dual-star system, pretty close to the eastern nebula. It's a very busy planet with lots of Dragon samurai coming and going. I like it there, because it's home... volcanoes are common, and the weather is warm, but I think this place might be prettier! It's a shame we don't really allow visitors from outside there."

Dragon's Eye was one of those worlds that were closed to outsiders, and there were rumors that the Dragon used the planet to focus on research - especially related to the mysterious nebula nearby.

"Are you from here, or somewhere else?"

The Kitsune smiled a little more warmly as he looked down at the Ikoma. The formality was quaint, pleasant for someone used to dealing with gruffer, less polite samurai.

"Indeed, Ikoma-san, and you? Can I get you something to drink perhaps?" One of Soratoshi's lean arms swept toward a small bar where a formally dressed server was providing iced, bubbly drinks to guests.

"I am interested to hear more about Kitsu Storm. As you know, Kitsune Bio-pharmaticals is a large and profitable company, and always interested to know what ventures are growing throughout the empire."

"It would be an honor Kitsune san to share a drink with you." The Ikoma followed the Kitsune to the bar. She ordered a sparkling yuzu drink. "We are a small company that provides entertainment to the ones who like video games... some are more traditional others... well my game is rather new... and well... hopefully it hits off."

"It's a deal. There's a path that goes up Mount Jinsai. It's a bit rough going at times, but I am sure Tamori-san will manage." Small as Kanna might have been, she was a Tamori. A Family almost as stout as the Kuni. "Plenty of wildlife to see along the trail."

"And please, by all means." He wasn't opposed to Kanna bringing her servant. If anything, the heimin would likely prove useful. They could always carry drinks for them all. "Chances are we won't find anything exotic, but I should be able to show Tamori-san a few things." Iwane sounded rather confident with himself, his voice a little smug.

"Climate there is much like here?" he asked, unable to imagine why anyone would want to visit Dragon space. The children of Togashi had little to offer and had made no friends with the Ide II incident.

"I am originally from Kaiu Prime. A colder world." Centuries of industrial efforts had changed the planet's climate. The Crab engineers care more about efficacy than environmental harmony. "I aas assigned here three years ago." Iwane explained, picking up another glass from busy servant.

"Ah, ahem. So yes, tell me more about your game. I, uh, I take it you saw some gap - something missing - in the available games that you are addressing?"

"Not a gap perse more of the different stories to tell... there are many stories where people wanted to affect their endings... what better than play a game." The Ikoma chuckled. "You make the decisions that the character is to make given the situation. "
